About the Integrated AI Network
The Integrated Artificial Intelligence (IAI) Network connects researchers working on or with AI in different disciplines, and to facilitate innovative integration across questions, methodologies, problem-solving, and societal use, as well as utilising AI in creative spaces and cultural practices.
Interested individuals are welcomed to join us.
IAI runs monthly workshops exploring different topics relating to AI usage, from climate change to art, and from philosophy and ethics to national security. As usage of AI evolves, so too will the focus of the IAI Network.
The Network also provides support to Higher Degree Research Students and Early Career Researchers in encouraging their passion in AI and navigating AI research spaces. Both communities holds regular meet ups and welcomes new members.

Integrated AI Network originated from the ANU Grand Challenges titled Humanising Machine Intelligence (HMI), a major initiative that reflects the University’s commitment in tackling big problems. HMI made a global impact through collaborations with other institutions and pushing intellectual inquiries of the role of AI in sociotechnical challenges. The original initiative has now wound down, providing the foundation for this network.
